"SB 250, the mandatory pet sterilization bill, is dead for this year! The California Assembly said NO to SB 250 by a 28-42 vote on Wednesday. The author of the bill, Senator Dean Florez has turned SB 250 into a two year bill meaning he can bring the bill back up to be revoted on in January. "
